Colour Scheme

This is the primary colour palette I plan to use, the colours seem very strong and noticeable. The strength of the colours make them very well suited to be on a front cover. I plan to use the purple for my masthead and the other 4 for my side lines. The red and orange will be paired, and the light and dark blues will be paired, there will not be a variation of all colours as that would make the cover seem sloppy and unprofessional. In addition, purple is also connected to Wyke as its the colour of our logo, so it seems the most fitting colour.

I'm highly considering this colour scheme too, as studies have shown yellow is the easiest colour to see from a distance, so would theoretically attract more attention by being more noticeable. Pink/peachy colours contrast well with yellows, and these are brighter colours than the above ones, so would work better on darker backgrounds.

This scheme is also tempting, as it contains both previous primary colours I am considering.

I enjoy the deep colours in this palette, and the blue and green work very well in unison. The peach is also not very commonly used in magazines, and may stand out well.
